Description

After the little solo jam section we're gonna go into the outro of the song. We'll vamp between G5 and D5 and some syncopated hits on an F power chord and a Csus2, the D note being the suspended second replacing the third in the chord.

Notice that every time we do the syncopated hits the G and D switch places- sneaky! This part falls under the category of "tight rock grooves that seem simple at a glance", but may surprise you once you get up on stage. Never underestimate songs or parts that seem easy. They're usually in the song because they serve a purpose, and you as a guitar player need to fulfill that purpose by criticizing your groove, feel, and tempo. I can't stress enough how important rhythm guitar playing is.

Get this under your fingers and simply end on a G chord.
