There are some really interesting parts being played here, a lot of repeating the same rhythmic and harmonic pattern. It's really just a variation of what guitar 2 is already playing.

Start by hitting an A power chord, then we're doing some double stops here, playing an A and a D. Then simply remove remove your ring finger and barre the A and a C#, and go back and forth between the two.

Check out that rhythm one more time before you move on.

Guitar 2 will also turn the progression around by playing the syncopated hits on big open D and G chords. The synergy between guitar 1 and 2 is crucial for creating the proper impact for these parts.
