Description

The chord progression heard underneath the guitar solo is a hybrid of our last two lessons. You want to make sure though to play with more added embellishments and match the dynamic of the whole band. We start with the chord progression heard in our second lesson, and than we play the same ending from our previous lesson. Here are a few key points to guide your through section.

Key Points:

1. The chord progression is a 4 bar section that repeats, the second time through having the same ending our previous lesson; changing chords during the fourth measure, and than again adding a measure of 3/4.

2. The chord progression is:

4/4: G D/F# - C Ami - G Emi - Ami D

G D/F# - C Ami - G Emi - D G G

3/4 D C:

3. The dynamic is pretty consistent throughout, and make sure to add embellishments but don't play over-top the solo. Make sure to stay in the supporting role.

4. The section ends going into the main guitar part that we looked at in our first lesson, playing the progression twice.
