Description

The tune starts out with an acoustic guitar strumming the verse chord progression. Some nice, relaxed, even strums here to start the tune off. The chord progression is I, bVII, bIII, IVm7sus2.

Note the open B and E strings ringing under that bVII chord, providing a cool sound that catches the ear. Make sure to hit those pushes (strum on the "and" of 4) on the 2nd and 4th chords in the progression. This section is a great example of taking chord shapes and moving them around the neck to find interesting sounds.
