Description

GUITAR: This song features acoustic parts, clean parts, and heavy gain parts. Any acoustic guitar will do here, as well as any electric guitar you wish to play. For electric, I suggest using the bridge pickup for maximum clarity and power, and be sure to have your volume and tone controls all the way up. If you don't have access to an acoustic guitar, you can always play the acoustic parts with a clean electric guitar.

AMP: If you have a modern amp that has channel switching, set one channel for clean and another channel for modern heavy gain. Simply switch channels from the clean verses to the crunch choruses. If your amp only has one channel, set it for a clean sound, then kick in a distortion/overdrive pedal for the choruses. Check out the settings I used for this tutorial:

CRUNCH: (Mesa Boogie Rectifier Model) Drive: 35% Bass: 50% Mid: 100% Treble: 40% Presence: 40%

CLEAN: (Vox AC30 Model) Drive: 40% Bass: 40% Mid: 60% Treble: 55% Presence: 50%

For the guitar solo, crank the drive/gain control of your crunch sound up to 75%.
