Description
The band opens up in the choruses as the guitar plays a busier riff. A few strums of the open low E string lead us to the E7#9 chord, also known as the "Hendrix" chord (a chord he used in many of his songs). The sound of the chord gives us that psychedelic feel of the choruses. The rest of the riff finds us moving power chords around the neck, sometimes chromatically. Lots of cool rhythm syncopation here to pay attention to!
