Description

Sometimes it takes so little to confuse guitar players that if the drummer displaces more than one beat, the guitar player gets lost. So in this lesson we're gonna work on some ways to avoid that. We're gonna play the same simple guitar part that we used in the previous lesson, but now we'll be playing it over a backing track where the drums displace the kick and snare. The point is to trust your own time and not get lost listening to the drums.

This example is just a little insight into some of those things that might throw you off, and since drummers spend a huge part of their practice time on stuff like this there's no way we can understand everything they might be doing. So learn when to listen and when not to!
