Description
The tune starts off with a mandolin riff adapted for the acoustic, then some solid acoustic strumming on the chord progression. That opening bar on the mandolin riff is a 5/4 bar, then the groove launches into some steady, consistent strumming. We are combining power chord shapes with the root on the A string with the open high B and E strings for a cool sound. Once the drums kick in, dig in with your strums to match the high dynamic of the band.
