Description
Each of the 3 verses in the song use the same framework/concept for the guitar approach, but have variations. You'll notice it's a combination of muted power chords, and well timed open string strums and chord arpeggiation. The role of the guitar here is to blend with the other instrumentation, picking spots around the vocal to poke out, but to never dominate.
The verses are never played the same way twice, and are improvisational in nature. However, the concepts and basic framework of the approach remain the same. Check out the tab and the performance video, and note the differences. It is more important to come away from these lessons knowing what approach to take when playing a song like this, rather than playing a note-for-note rendition.
