Double Stop Progression In A

Description

This is the first lick in the progression, and it's also a great hybrid picking exercise.

Here I used it to start with, but it can also be used to end a solo. It would also work great to end a half solo, when you come back to the 1 chord.

I chose not to do this at barnburner speed, just a nice little chug. This lick will only sound better played faster, but make sure you build your speed gradually.

I used some compression on this, and a little reverb too. If it sounds thin to you, kick the lows up a little bit.
