Description
The bridge features a clean guitar, picking a repetitive melodic motif starting with an F# minor triad. Note the root of the shape works nicely under the F# minor chord (root) and the D chord (major third).
It's no surprise then that you make a change of the root note to the E for the next two chords- A major (fifth) and E major (root). Cycling between the C# and D notes on the B string brings some nice tension to the section.
Play this part wide open - no palm muting - and keep your quarter notes steady and locked in with the drums and bass.
