Description

The chorus features some cool strumming with variations in the rhythms. We take a break here from the I-IV-V progression and switch to a I-minor VI-IV progression. Really nice syncopation here, breaking up the steadiness of the muted 8ths in the verses.

The second half of the chorus cycles between the V and IV chords with tight palm muting and steady 8ths ala the verse sections. Note the rhythm variation on the last E chord; adding some metal-esque 16th notes into the rhythm really adds to the tension. These can be tricky up to tempo so be sure to practice the rhythm slowly to get it under your fingers.
