Description
This is one of the positions I used in the first lesson, but I am playing the root note after releasing the bend. By doing that, this position works with an A chord too.
I have my ring finger in the 5th fret on the 2nd string, and I'm bending the 3rd string with the middle finger.
I'm using a compressor, reverb, and this one sounds great with a chorus too.
I'm also using my middle finger to pull up on the 2nd, and 3rd string, but I played the last note on the 3rd string with the pick.
Play the 2nd string in the 5th fret, and bend the 3rd string up a whole step before picking it. After releasing the bend, play the note in the 2nd fret on the 3rd string.
I'm also using my palm to mute the strings after I play them, and after releasing the bend. I do suggest learning to do this, before you try it with the palm muting though.
