Description

In this lesson, I'll show you the bass runs you can use in the key of G. Bass runs serve to create a little extra movement and interest in the guitar part when playing Stringband music.


From G to C, the Bass Run notes are: A and B (open 5th string, 5th string 2nd fret).


From C back to G, you simply retrace your steps. The Bass Run notes are: B and A (5th string 2nd fret, open 5th string).


From G to D, the Bass Run notes are: A and B (open 5th string, 5th string 2nd fret).


From D back to G, the Bass Run notes are: E and F# (open 6th string, 6th string 2nd fret).
