Description
Any acoustic guitar is suitable to play this song, however, one with a brighter tone will cut through the mix a bit better.
Any electric guitar with a humbucker pickup in the bridge position is suitable for Guitar 2. The humbucker provides plenty of power and clarity for dropped tuning based riffing.
Guitar 3 uses the neck pickup for a more rounder tone in the solo section.
As far as amps go, a Mesa-Boogie style tube amp is the perfect choice. Crank up the gain for a modern crunch tone. Set the drive for 50%, bass to 45%, mid to 50%, and treble to 55%. For Guitar 3, you'll want to add more gain to get a more saturated sound for the solo. Also, Guitar 3 uses a delay effect to widen the sound.
I recommend a 10-46 string gage and medium to heavy picks, so you can really dig into those power chords! Here are the settings I used:
Dual Rectifier Model:
Drive: 50% Bass: 45% Mid: 50% Treb: 55% Presence: 65%

Digital Delay (Guitar 3)
