Description

As far as guitars go, any electric guitar will work well here. The tones are shaped more by the amp choice and the use of effects.

With respect to the amps, any vintage-style tube amp (such as a Marshall or Fender) is a great choice. The guitars are clean, so dial in just a touch of preamp gain for some sustain. Since guitars 1 and 2 play a more supportive role in the song, you'll want to thin out the tone, roll down the bass, and emphasize the high-mids so that the guitar parts have a percussive nature and can blend into the rhythm section.

Guitar 2 uses a flange effect to give some depth and help set it apart from guitar 1. Guitar 3 (guitar solo) uses much more reverb, and you may want to kick in a boost pedal to give a bit more sustain, but this guitar stays clean as well. Check out the settings I used:

Fender Deluxe Model: Drive: 50% Bass: 15% Mid: 55% Treble: 60% Presence: 75%

Flanger (Guitar 2): Speed: 20% Depth: 60% Wet/DryMIX: 45%

SpringReverb (Guitar 3): Wet/Dry MIX: 65%
