Description
First let's get into the open G tuning. People are often scared off by open tunings, but in reality it makes things much easier and in this lesson you'll see why. If you try to adapt your normal chords/licks to the open tuning it will be tricky, but that's not the purpose.
Open tunings make certain things like slide playing really easy and everything else a bit harder. That's why you use them for those things and have your "standard" tuning for everything else!
From low string to high string: D, G, D, G, B, and D.
