Let's take the slide technique and the chord shapes we learned and put together a blues idea based on the progression in D that includes the chords C, G, D5, F5, G5, and D, respectively.



Pay close attention to the pressure applied to the string by the slide. Also, make sure to take your time sliding between notes and chords. The sliding sound is what makes any of this sound bluesy.
