I bet you would have never thought this was a twist on a simple G to C open chord progression. It's that simple! Here's the scoop on how we do it:

Change the C chord to a C power chord. Add a bluesy pull of to help the transition from the G chord to the C chord. Give all a good rhythmic twist and don't overplay. I add a little overdrive to make it dirty.

Voila! Modern country at its finest.
