Description
Today I brought a Stratocaster with single coils to get the right "cut through" on the palm muted parts, playing on the bridge pickup.
We're gonna use a fairly clean tone from the amp, then we're gonna add a bit of chorus - nothing too crazy - just a bit of modulation to add some colour to the sound. Every chorus pedal is different and it really becomes a matter of individual taste on the matter of how deep or how fast you want the chorus to be.
Lastly we'll be adding a little bit of delay set to 1/8th notes and two repeats. When you're playing a groove like this, the bit of delay helps the feel and supports the palm mute.
