Description

In this lesson we're playing the same chord, using the same technique, but here we are playing eighth notes.

All downstrokes with the pick in this one, strum the chord and let it sound on the count of 1. Choke the chord on and 2 and 3 and 4 and, this is where the measure ends. We are playing two measures in this lesson, if you want to keep going, just keep on counting.

Many of today's country songs have different strumming patterns choking the chords, and it's pretty easy to recognize when you hear it.

Keep practicing this, and the previous pattern in your other barre chord positions.
