Description

Mike will show you the single clean electric guitar part in this tune that plays open chords with a simple strumming pattern. An acoustic guitar can also be easily used to play this tune.

The song opens with the guitar playing an upbeat strumming progression. The verse contains 2 parts played with the same approach, each with it’s own progression. There’s also a bridge section that uses another progression and adds some dramatic ensemble punches and a pause for great contrast.

We’ve included a bonus lesson to learn the flute solo adapted for guitar!

In the following lessons, we’ll talk about open chords, and some wide open strumming approaches. We are in the key of G major, with a 4/4 time signature, at a tempo of 114 BPM.
