This week on Insider I answer a question from Mitch about not looking at the fretboard while you practice. First we talk about the overall merits of that advice and then we explore some fun and useful ways to actually practice without looking at the fretboard, which can be greatly beneficial if you're up for it. Finally I'll show you the exercise that I use and you'll watch me crash and burn my way through it.
