Description

Now it's time to put it all together. We learned a lot of really great licks that we can unpack and make part of our own blues and jazz vocabulary. We learned how we can use the notes of a chord to spell out the harmony in our solo and really tie it into what’s happening underneath. On top of all the cool blues phrases, we also learned about using motifs and repeating ideas with slight changes to tie everything together and make it sound really
cohesive. We also checked out some new chords and voicing styles to play our blues rhythm with.

Since there are two guitars playing on this track, the single guitar approach
would be to just play the lead part, and then switch to rhythm for the other soloists turn before heading back to the lead part. Let’s put it all together now, and play along with the track!
