Now it's time to explore the C major chord. This one requires your left hand fingers to stretch apart more than they've ever done before, but trust me when I tell you that they'll figure it out if you stick with it. Just be patient and do the best you can right now.

Locate your A-string, place your ring finger in the 3rd fret. Locate the D-string, place your middle finger in the 2nd fret. Locate the high B-string, place your index finger in the 1st fret.

Avoid the low E string when strumming.
