Now it's time to try our strumming pattern with some open chords. So we'll start in the easy end with some chords that use all 6 six strings.
Sometimes you'll notice that I'm emphasizing the bass strings on beats 1 and 3 and the treble strings on beat 2 and 4. In a very simple way that's imitating a drummer with the bass drum on beat 1 and 3 and the bright snare drum on beats 2 and 4. So it can help to think a little of that in your strumming as well, but don't worry if that's too much for right now.
