Description

Up until this point we've used 8th notes as our main rhythmic feel or “subdivision” as it's technically called. But in this tutorial we're going to explore different “subdivision”, where you now have 4 notes per quarter note- or 16 per bar. I'm sure it's no surprise to you that these are called 16th notes, and in this tutorial we'll explore a groove uses this subdivision and come up with a cool strumming pattern that fits it. I'm sure you'll recognize the sound of it, as this rhythmic feel is used in a million classic songs.
