Description
The A minor chord uses five strings, with the fifth string played open serving as the bass note.
Try your best to make the Am chord, then be sure and do a tone check on yourself to see what little micro-adjustments you might need to make in your hand and finger positions in order to get the best tone you can.
Don't worry if it doesn't sound perfect yet- you'll get it with practice.
