Description

Muscle memory is the key to good chords. We'll learn to think in "shapes" as opposed to constructing chords one finger at a time.

The first finger is dominant, and always tries to go first, but we will think about how to empower our other fingers so that we always have the right finger in the right place at the right time.

Often the transition from one chord to the next will have a common finger that need not come off the fingerboard to move to the next chord shape. Learning to use these "chord connections", as well as keeping the fingers "over the fingerboard", will aid in our quest to build muscle memory, dexterity, and speed.
