Throughout this course you've been introduced to some of the most common types of electric guitars used in rock. Now it's time to take a look at some of the most common types of amplifiers. I'm going to show you three classic rock amps: a Fender, a Marshall, and a Vox. For each of these amps there are endless variations and combinations, but understanding these three will be a great place to start.
Even if you never own one of these models, it's super useful to have a solid understanding of the different tones and features, so that you can dial whatever gear you have closer to the sound you want. Let's get started!
