Description

The electric guitar adds a more dramatic boom chick sound to the track, and plays alternating bass notes with the chords. The intro riff is instantly recognizable, and consists of single notes based off that open B7 chord.

Once we're into the tune, we'll use the same open chord shapes as the acoustic. You'll use palm muting to dampen the strings and give it that old country flavor.

If you have trouble alternating those bass notes, slow the tempo down and practice until you get the feel under your fingers down. Once your finger muscles get used to the moves, it will be much easier to play up to speed.
