Pinch harmonics

High pitched tones created with the thumb of the picking hand after the plectrum strikes the string. The thumb touches the string lightly, creating a similar effect to natural harmonics, except with any note fretted. There has to be a slight variation in the position at which you strike the string depending on which note is fretted.
