Speaking of band names.. I just got back into the "band" thing after a long hiatus and completed a trio. Anyways these guys are pretty good musicians and I am the new guitarist/lead singer. I'm not going to tell the name of the band because I dont know if the bass player reads this forum. Anyways it is the dumbest name I have ever heard, not funny, just plain dumb.

Would I be out of place just joining a new band and asking them to re-consider the name of the band?
